2. How is Quilting Together different from a quilt convention?

Quilting Together is a private, more structured, retreat-type event with a timeline of activities, rather than the open forum of shopping and workshops from vendors that is found at conventions and other consumer shows. Featuring smaller and more exclusive workshops, Quilting Together offers a unique educational experience for attendees who register months in advance. The quality of the education attendees receive at Quilting Together is unmatched by any other consumer trade shows and local workshops. Quilting Together workshops are meant to build quilting skills and techniques rather than simply sell specific products.

In addition, the social atmosphere at every Quilting Together is unique in that attendees are surrounded by the same quilting enthusiasts for the length of the event. Attendees can build long-lasting friendships and enjoy a close camaraderie with others who share their passion.
